Public Event by Jay Aptt, Barry Amero, Steve Nadeau and friends
Our good friend , pro musician and Gloucester native Joe Nadeau has had a stroke down south in Louisiana .
We his friends are raising money for his rehab , bills, food, and new first floor housing needed to get him back doing what he does best.
Joe played primarily with Kenny Wayne Shepard , his own Joe Nadeau band and his local Gloucester band was Salvaged Blues and he was 1 of the 5 Fabulous Muldoon Bros for those who remember Joe.
Just like the blues brothers …we’re on a mission from GOD to help he and his fiancé Karen get through this jam up with a big jam down at the Elks Sunday Nov 3 !
Over 25 players , food and silent auction and raffles all going directly to Joes bills that he can’t pay without his left arm. He is positive and working physically hard every day it’s very encouraging to talk to him and he sends his love to ya’ll. Thank you. Jay Aptt
It’s official! Here is the go fund me link for those of you that can help a gem of a human and our cause. See you Nov 3rd at the Gloucester Elks 1-6pm. 30 players for $20 silent auction and big raffles for great special prizes from our sponsors and friends. Thank you 🙏

There are several ways you can cast your vote including at your polling place on Election Day Tues Nov 5; mail in/absentee or in person early voting. I happen to be working a couple of shifts at City Hall for the in person early voting. The pace has been steady and I have found it very interesting. More info on hours at this link. And I get to see some very nice people such as fellow GMG contributor Cat Ryan!
Anyhow, I was intrigued to learn that you can track your mailed in ballot by going to the MA state website (link here) ; enter a few pieces of your info and BOOM. You get a report on the status of your ballot such as the example shown here. It’s a big comfort to know your mailed/dropped off ballot is in the proper hands.
