Pet of the Week- Lady Gaga
Are you happy in this modern world? Or do you need more? Perhaps a kitty worth coming for? That’s me, Lady Gaga.

I am more than ready to find a family who will let me settle in and love me forever. I promise with a little time I am sure to be a great companion I would do great in a quiet, low traffic home. I am still young at just over a year old and have plenty of personality to share. Come on by and meet me to see if I would be a good fit for your family!
To learn more about me or other animals waiting for homes, please come visit our shelter at 4 Paws Lane in Gloucester or check us out online at www.capeannanimalaid.org.

John Abisamra Gallery 53
John Abisamra submits “Yesterday was the opening reception for Gallery 53 on Rocky Neck. New juried members from Gloucester include Melissa Cox and myself as photographers. There was a huge turnout for the event. Gallery 53 will remain open though mid October and has 28 artists displaying/selling their work. It’s right in the heart of Rocky Neck between the Rudder and Studio restaurants. Great place to visit to see some magnificent art work!! I have attached a photo of my work and there are additional photos on the Gallery 53 website. The current Gallery 53 exhibit is entitled BLUE. Thanks for getting the word out about Gallery 53 through Good Morning Gloucester!”

Barns Along the Byway
I have noticed some very interesting looking barns along the Essex Scenic Byway. I love barns that seem to tell their own story. The spring light certainly helps! As our friend Donna Ardizzoni says: it’s all about the light. She inspired me to experiment with softening photos.
