GMG RADAR confirms 1PM today Santa Arrival in Rockport

We thought Kris Kringel would chicken out since dead low tide is coinciding with Santa Sleigh-Boat arriving in Rockport Harbor. 1 PM and Santa will scoot up this ladder the way Sandra Bullock did in high heels!

Santa will have a longer climb today! Vegas odds: Old Saint Nick will make it.

Grand Banks Building Products Give Back

We attended an Open House held at Grand Banks Building Products on Craft Road last Wednesday. Joey conducted a live to Facebook podcast interview regarding Grand Banks efforts to collect Christmas items on behalf of Wellspring, a local charity to be distributed this holiday season. It was a lovely event showcasing Cape Ann Olive Oil as well as pizza from Bravo in Manchester-By-The-Sea. Although the December 6 deadline has passed, I’m sure you can still participate by contacting Wellspring Holiday Wish List at http://www.wellspringhouse.org. Just looking around their showroom had me wondering how they might feel about providing products for work in Central New York……

Real Santa! 1PM Saturday in Rockport

Trying to research why the real Santa Claus comes to Rockport by fishing boat at 1 PM on Saturday and checking out Les Bartlett History of Rockport here. This tradition goes back a few years. An ancient Rockport Harbormaster made a deal with Kris Kringel many years ago.

On Saturday, the boat arrives at 1PM. All children who have not been naughty need to be there on arrival. Then there is music, egg nog, shops open all afternoon and the Dock Square Tree Lighting at 4PM.

2019: Low tide is at 1:38 PM. Santa at 1 PM will be looking at a very long wet ladder. Will he make it? Of course he will! If Sandra Bullock can climb that ladder in heels, Santa will fly up even if Harbormaster Rosemary Lesch has to goose him.

Santa is really coming to town.
Early on Harbormaster Shorty Lesch would dissapear to fill out Santa paperwork then boom, Santa arrives!

Jon Butcher, Fly Amero and Allen Estes Saturday DEC 7th 8pm @ Shalin Liu Performance Center

A special upcoming event you’re not gonna want to miss.

There are still some tix left for our Shalin Liu show this coming Saturday… but not

many!  Now’s the time to get ’em. I’ve been told Mayor Sefatia will be in attendance,

along with Senator Bruce Tarr – and perhaps even Governor Charlie Baker!  But it is

most assuredly Jon Butcher, Allen Estes myself who plan on tickling your hearts with

holiday love and spirit.  You’re just gonna have to be there, my friends!  HAPPY HOLIDAYS! ~ Fly

NOTE: Not depicted on the poster (an innocent oversight on our part, apologies), the great
Sal Baglio of The Stompers will be the opener! He can tickle, too! I promise! ~ Fly

Looking forward…..to seeing you there Fly 🙂
