From Sian Heder:
I am so damn excited to announce that my film CODA is world premiering at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival! This is such a special film to me, the process of making it was honestly life changing and I can’t wait for the world to experience it! #Sundance is doing things differently this year with online screenings via festival.sundance.org and Satellite Screens across the country, so you can access it on your own screens or in your community!
Hope you’ll join us January 28 – February 3. Tickets on sale, January 7.
I’m so proud of my actors and my crew and the whole city of Gloucester (now the whole town gets to talk about something else besides The Perfect Storm)!

From Good Harbor Beach and Old House Cove, some videos showing post-storm action.
We are Open To All! Welcoming everyone wearing masks. Suggest washing your hands in our two lavs by the rear entrance, and practicing social distancing of at least 6 feet, storewide.

As the snow was winding down took a walk and saw the prettiest decoration.

Morning after….

This Saturday is the last Saturday before Christmas. Come on down to Arts Abound at 21 C Lexington Avenue, Magnolia Gloucester, MA 01930. I will be outside spreading some holiday cheer.

Thank you to all the road crews and good eggs shoveling public ways!
Digging out photos: A few after the winter storm scenes of downtown Gloucester by 9:30AM 12/18/2020. Any surface brick or stone is slick as can be. Evergreen pine trees & wreaths were randomly frosted like the Kancamagus Highway. Yet snow was already gone from the marsh.

There is a change in date of Men’s Night due to snow storm, come shop local on Friday, December 18, 2020.

This beautiful statue gets me every time….but, especially on blustery freezing cold days.

Eagles were soaring over the marsh behind our house in Magnolia just prior to the storm and we have high hopes they might nest nearby. I first spotted one flying by carrying something (food or maybe nesting material) and chased by several crows. Then, a bit later, I saw a pair in a nearby tree perch. It’s SO EXCITING to see these guys every single time. Keep your eyes open!
