Where Am I?

I thought it might be fun to bring back some “Where Am I” photos. Does anyone recognize this light fixture? I’ll give you a little hint. Many will never step foot in here (making this even more tricky), but for those who do….you’ll probably find yourself back when the time is right.

Lane’s Cove Shines

I finally took the dive and got the Canon 50 mm 1.8 lens that our boss Joey C strongly recommended. My main purpose is to take better pictures of the grandson, but we took it out for a spin to see how she works. Lane’s Cove was one of the settings where this new lens seemed to shine! The day had been a little grey, but the sun unexpectedly shone as if it knew what I was doing……

Turkey Mystery — pat morss

On Sunday our family of ten turkeys flew into the trees during the middle of the day (never seen that before). Some relocated to the coastal rocks in the afternoon (never seen that before). Maybe the two Red Foxes, first in the driveway and then down on the rocks, had something to do with this odd behaviour?

And if anyone is wondering where their Mallards went, check out Niles Pond.

City Hall

I’m often struck by how pretty City Hall really is when it comes into view as I drive around town. I had to stop and park the other day to snap this quick photo as it caught my eye.

Beautiful Magnolia Sunset

We found ourselves in Magnolia a few days ago in time for sunset. Our friend Donna Ardizzoni is my mentor in this special time of day in Magnolia, and, of course she was there as well taking her own gorgeous shots. Some of these are a little different than her view and I thought you might enjoy them.

Remember the good times Craig. The times when your Steelers after going 11-0 weren’t eliminated by the lowly Cleveland Browns. (Ouchie)

and us Pats fans will remember the times that going deep and or winning it all was considered a birthright.
