Join us at Arts Abound this Saturday, Feb 6 from 10-2. Our Featured Artist, Laurinda Butcher, will be outside, with a mask and socially distancing, to speak about her incredible local photos. We will also be having a raffle for her egret print below. Come to 21C Lexington Ave in Magnolia, MA to buy tickets. Proceeds from the raffle go to Open Door, Gloucester’s food pantry. So, you can enjoy seeing amazing art and help out the less fortunate. See you then!

Minglewood Harborside is our go-to “Let’s have dinner and a drink” and be comfortable choice especially on weeknights. Jim really wanted to try the new Twin Lights beer and I had a craving for buffalo tenders. You can’t see it in the picture as well as I hoped, but these tenders were steaming when they got to the table. They were done to perfection: nice and tender with just the right amount of sauce! Jim enjoyed his fish sandwich which is another favorite for both of us. Sarah was a great server. When I opened the Serenitee app, there was an unexpected bonus of $10 off waiting for us!! Win, win.
For those wondering, seating is appropriately spaced for virus restrictions, staff are masked up, contact info is taken, limited capacity is strictly adhered to. It feels quite safe. Hope to see you there soon!

Finn has been asking for a tuna avocado maki roll and truffle fries from Minglewood Harborside for weeks now. We’ve ordered take out twice recently, but he wasn’t home either time. So, last night while Thatch was on the ice for practice, Finn and I ran over for a quick dinner. With an added order of wings along with his fries and sushi….and the Bruins game on one TV with the Milwaukee Bucks (he’s got a thing for #34 Giannis Antetokounmpo) on another, Finn was a happy camper. I had my go-to favorite, the Gloucester Roll, and it was phenomenal as always!
