My View of Life on the Dock

Mother’s Day….

The patio at the Azorean Restaurant on Washington Street has been refreshed and looks pretty inviting! We can’t wait to give it a try.

How fabulous is this? Engel & Volkers set up beautiful Mother’s Day Flower Bars. What a terrific way to spread smiles and spoil your Mother. Kudos to Engel & Volkers for always finding the perfect way to spread joy. Flower bars set up at their Beverly Farms and Concord locations.

Thanks Mom’s Kitchen for some comfort food last Wednesday. The cabbage roll was delicious and enough to take home for another meal. We love Mom’s.

Gloucester, MA Windover Construction and HDS Architecture are nearing completion of Halyard, a modern apartment community. Named after the rope used for raising and lowering a boat’s sail, Halyard incorporates design influences from the coastal Cape Ann community. This is the latest development for The Dolben Company and consists of three four-story buildings surrounding a one-story clubhouse and outdoor amenities.
Halyard features a mix of studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments with spacious layouts and high-end finishes. The 5,000 s/f clubhouse provides amenities to all residents, including an on-demand fitness center, game room, Amazon Hub, and great room for social gatherings, as well as the leasing office and a model unit.
Featured artists include: Chris Williams, Ken Hruby, Loren Doucette, Dorothy Kerper Monnelly, and Brad Story
GLOUCESTER, MASS. (May 2021) – To highlight the work of local contemporary sculptors, painters, and artists, the Cape Ann Museum will host a series of monthly virtual lectures through July 8.
“With our virtual lecture series, we wanted to pivot and focus on the living artists who call Cape Ann their home, carrying on this area’s tradition as a destination for painters, sculptors, writers, poets, and all kinds of artists who are inspired by the beauty and history of this special place,” said Museum Director Oliver Barker. “With the virtual format, we can reach a much wider audience, and we welcome everyone to join us.” The lectures are free to members and $10 for non-members.
