The New Deck at Lobsta Land

The new deck at Lobsta Land just opened and it’s pretty awesome. We stopped by yesterday afternoon and had some awesome fish tacos on the new deck at a super comfortable table…with a phenomenal view and some live music playing as well. It will definitely be a great spot for the summer!

Fisherman’s Pier Sign is Missing

You may remember I recently posted some pictures from Fisherman’s Pier with a bird posing on the sign. We recently noticed that sign is now missing. It does not appear to have been torn off by wind or stormy weather. No debris remains so perhaps it is being refurbished. Any insight appreciated. We love to go down there and the scenery is definitely missing something without the lovely worn signage. The cool birds are still hanging around over there though.

Father’s Day Memories

This is my dad with his mom on Long Beach in 1930. It makes for a sweet Father’s Day post, but I really would like to hear your input on “Dad Jokes” to celebrate Dads today. Share a Dad joke here to honor all the fathers and father figures out there. I’m sure they will love them. I’ll start with a classic: “If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring? Pilgrims….”

Free Streaming Nia and Restorative Yoga Classes via Zoom with Linda for the Week of June 21st

niawithlinda's avatarCape Ann Wellness

Come join us as we revisit a routine that highlights the music from the movie Slumdog Millionaire.

For Restorative Yoga, find some cushions, large books, yoga blocks, blankets, whatever you can use instead of bolsters and blocks. We make it work. For more information on Restorative yoga, check out my site, niawithlinda.com. It is a lovely passive practice that gives the participant relaxation and calm. Who couldn’t use that right now.

If you are new to Nia and Restorative Yoga with Linda, these streaming classes are free. Share with anyone who you feel needs a little movement or peace in their lives during this period of social isolation.

So here is how it works. It will be easier for you if you download the Zoom client for meetings for a desktop or laptop, or the app for phones and tablets.
