*For the first half of the evening, Michael and his stellar bandmates will play a set of traditional Irish songs and tunes. For the second half, they will open it up to others to sit in with them in an informal Irish céili, so bring your fiddles, flutes, bouzoukis, guitars, whistles and pipes and join us for the “ceol agus craic” – Irish for “music and fun!”
We have now booked our first month of amazing local artists! We will now have live music every Wednesday and Sunday. Come in and enjoy all that we have to offer. See you on the green
355 Gloucester Crossing Rd, Gloucester, MA, United States, Massachusetts

The February 3rd concert features a young woman who Celene and I saw at a Folk Alliance International conference in Kansas City. She impressed us mightily, and we have been looking forward to this show. Her name is Joy Clark, she was born and raised in New Orleans and still lives there, and she’ll be accompanied by two more terrific musicians from New Orleans. The concert page, with more information and links for tickets, is at https://oldslooppresents.org/performance/joy-clark-2024

Erelli turns adversity into finely embroidered rock songs that burn with urgency on his 2023 album Lay Your Darkness Down. Following full-bodied rock forebears Tom Petty, George Harrison, and Roy Orbison, Erelli’s songwriting explores the unknown glories of this planet and love’s transformational power. Mark will be joined by Andrew Stern on electric guitar and a very special guest on keyboards. Visit https://oldslooppresents.org for tickets and more information.
Here is a video of Mark performing By Degrees with some friends at the 2018 American Honors event at Austin City Limits.
