Ready to Pop…

The New England Experimental Art Group opens its 23^rd group exhibition at Charles Fine Arts, 196 Main Street, Gloucester, MA 01930. Works on view in the exhibition range in medium to include paintings, mixed-media, graphics, sculpture, digital art and photography. The exhibition runs from April 18 through May 18 with an artist reception on Saturday April 20 from 4-6pm. The gallery is open Thursday and Friday 1-4, Saturday and Sunday 1-5 pm. There will also be a gallery talk with Nella Lush “The Act of Creating” on Saturday, Aril 27 at 4PM.

The Experimental Group is a creative forum, its’ main mission is to increase public awareness and to foster self-expression by bringing artists together to explore and share ideas that cultivate creative freedom.

I underestimated how much I miss seeing our schooners in the local waters. I was attending the recent fundraiser for Maritime Gloucester and spied Isabella approaching for a special visit to the Gloucester House. My heart sang. I hope yours does too and perhaps you will consider helping Maritime Gloucester reach their goals in support of the upcoming 40th Schooner Festival Labor Day weekend 2024.

Join us on Sunday, May 19th, 2024 at Stage Fort Park, Gloucester  for the Bluefin Blowout Family Fun Run 5K, Presented by the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group – Benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association.

Run, walk, or stroll from Stage Fort Park to Hammond Castle and back to Stage Fort Park for a 5K loop. Enjoy the beautiful Cape Ann waterfront and fresh ocean air while raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Start a team, invite family, friends, colleagues.
