Pink, Red or Black Fleece Lined Pom Caps all Wrapped Up For Easy Valentine Gift Giving!!! $25 Here’s A Video Of My Mom Wrapping Them Up!

We have these available at 44 Main St while the last (they’ve been selling fast) so my suggestion is to buy it here to make sure you have your gifts for your loved ones!

Virgilios for Lunch

We are SO fortunate at 44 Main St to have so many wonderful lunch choices within easy walking distance so I thought it was time to feature some of them. I’ll start with Virgilios on Main St. They’ve really upped their game with provisions. I strongly recommend you check out the freezer for frozen entrees, soups, pizza and more! I like to get my sandwich on a roll. The filling isn’t the important part…..it’s all about the roll! Delicious. Their Italian Ice is a daily favorite during the summer months, but I’ll bet you already knew that. The bread, the sandwiches, the cookies and sweet treats……it’s all there for you.

Meet Georgia! This young lady is about 11 months old and is hoping to find her forever home!

She is looking forward to days of adventures, a bin of toys just for her and someone to return all the love she has to offer! At around 40 pounds this sweet gal is most likely full grown, we aren’t sure what her breed mixes might be but she sure is adorable. Georgia really enjoys running along the fence with the other dogs here but she is hoping to be the only dog in her future home because she is not big on sharing high value items. We are hoping she can find a family to celebrate her first birthday with- and all the birthdays to come! Georgia is now extended stay so her adoption fee has been reduced in hopes that she will be able to find a home a little easier! If you are interested in adopting- submit an application online!

Winter Progresses — pat morss

Sure looks different from mid-summer.

However, the familiar Song Sparrow reminds us spring will come.
While a squirrel struggles for a hand-out of suet.
Just a few of the dozen-plus seals finding some winter sun at Brace Cove.
A slice of sun slashes through the clouds illuminating sea smoke on a cold morning.
One of the coyotes with mange searching for food, on the rocks in the fog.
While other healthy ones look pretty content, napping in the sun.
I’m told this Red-tailed Hawk may have been decapitated by a Great Horned Owl.
Our Inuit friends help hold my cross-country skis, while I look for boots and poles.
Skiing “out the door,” the first few strides are challenging.
The skis are happy to be back on the snow. But where’s the groomed trail?
First rite of spring, when the sun sets north of the lighthouse again.

How About Those Drones

How about those drones? Last night was the first time that I actually noticed several drones outside my window. I’ve heard of them, and know plenty of people who have seen them, but have never caught them in action. For the doubters, let me say that I am very accustomed to airplane traffic outside my window waiting to land at Logan airport. These definitely were not planes! I watched about seven of them bob and weave over the water and occasionally head towards land and Magnolia.

Glosta At Work

With my little eye. I spied this marine work being carried out in the harbor recently. I have no idea what they were working on, but I applaud them being out in the wind and cold getting it done! I couldn’t stay out there long enough myself to figure it out, so kudos to you all (probably you are thinking “just another day” for these guys and you are right but still….it was stinking cold and blustery).

Put the recency biased debate to bed. It’s ovah!

Finito.

The press wanted it soooo bad 😆

The NFL wanted it soooo bad 😆

Zero chance Mahomes catches the 🐐 now!

Stick a fork in it sucka!
