On Monday, so nice to have the windows open.  Sunset was at 6:40 and walking with the Sunset Club was delightful.  Grateful

Warmer weather is coming

On Sunday, as the sun was trying to come out and milder temperatures, Good Harbor had many beach goers.  There was also Stand-Up Paddleboarders enjoying the milder weather.

Turkeys in the trees

During the storm on Tuesday, the turkeys were flying everywhere.  At least they were not flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz.

After so much pretty snow, the parking at Magnolia Landing is starting to improve.  The DPW did a great job this snowy winter.

An update to the tribute to the Lily Jean

Saw this surfer on the back shore the other day.  Not sure I would ever, even in my younger days, to try to surf with all the rocks around.

Pre spring walk on Wingaersheek Beach

On Saturday, the temperature was 43 degrees.  Perfect for a winter walk on Wingaersheek Beach.  Love the fact that the parking lot was full of cars with families and happy dogs.

Beautiful tribute to the crew of the Lily Jean

Mary Bromberger Bowles, a wonderful Gloucester artist, took the collage of the faces of the Lily Jean and pressed flowers and put this beautiful picture in a floating frame.  Mary told me she wanted to do something to honor the crew.  Mary has generously left the frame at the Man at the Wheel.  Please feel free to go visit this tribute.  You can reach Mary at shelldesigns.com.

Thursday’s sunset

Feel very grateful for where we live and for the sunset club.  To be able to appreciate this beautiful place we call home with friends makes it all the more special.  On Thursday, the temperature was 43 with no wind.  The sunset did not disappoint.

The sun setting had sun pillars, multiply colors, blue ocean and the city of Boston was visible.

On Tuesday, the snow with the blue sky and ocean, was beautiful.  Walking Shore Road at dusk was delightful.  Notice the cutie dog in the corner enjoying the walk as well.

The snow can be a nuisance, but it is certainly pretty especially with this cardinal taking shelter in the bush.

Took a ride to Good Harbor on Saturday.  There was one Surfer and a beach goer sitting on a beach chair bundled up.  Love New Englanders.
