Gloucester Gear – Athletic Gear Fundraiser

From Bill and Alexis Loiacano:

Welcome to GloucesterGear.com, a website created and maintained by Seaside Graphics, Inc. as a way to lessen the financial impact that sports are now facing.  We have been providing our services for years to many local teams and have a great customer base, but we wanted to give back to the athletes and teams that have supported us.   So we came up with GloucesterGear.com. This site has been designed, maintained, and kept active with 100% of the costs incurred by Seaside Graphics.

Having a kid in High School and going to local booster meetings for sports, we realized that there is no easy fundraiser.  How about great quality clothing that anyone can wear and can be bought at your own convenience?  Sweatshirts with your team name and logo, pajamas, blankets, jackets, hats, are just a few items to be found on GloucesterGear.com.

How It Works (The Catch?)

Now here is the catch to the whole program we’ve created…There is No Catch!  No one asked us to do this, but we feel that it is a great way to sell our products and at the same time Donate back to the Teams whose products are sold.  So a Portion of All Sales is donated back to the teams.  Buy a football sweatshirt and we’ll donate a portion to the Football Boosters to use towards student athletic fees, equipment, etc.  At the end of each season Seaside Graphics will tally up all sales related to each team and then cut our Donation checks back to them.  The amount will depend on how much is bought.  Typical donations are around 20% of the sales price, but do fluctuate depending on the items.

Promoting your team gear as a fundraiser is made easier with our Custom Flyer Program.  If interested in fully supporting our site and gaining sales for your team then we will gladly create full color flyers at no cost to your organization to be passed out at games, meeting, or wherever.  Contact us at info@gloucestergear.com and ask about making a custom flyer for your team. Also if you want to see certain items that we did not include for your team, just ask us and we’ll look into it for you.

Unlike other online sports gear promotions, our online stores will be open year round with no minimum amount needed to donate back to the teams.  We do not limit the length of the sales to a few weeks, but rather leave it open so that we can produce goods all year.  This way if you need a gift or want to buy a new item you can buy it at your own convenience.

Behavior Issue at Niles

This mom swan was furious that her young baby swam in front of her. Very protective! Is there only one left this year? I’ve seen the red fox and the snapping turtles that are predators of the little swans.

Much better!

Try this trick!

I was sitting in Friendly’s parking lot watching an egret – kinda playing with my iPhone. I started thinking that if my polarized sunglasses were making the sky so gorgeous, what would happen if I put the sunglass lens over the iPhone camera lens and shot the marsh? Well, this was the result. Nice, huh?

Try it with your phone or point and shoot camera.
