Dedication of a bench on Magnolia Beach for Philip Bouchie

A. Philip Bouchie, Jr. passed away last January.  He was the Acting Lieutenant of the Gloucester Fire Department.  On Wednesday, January 13, 2016 there was a dedication to Lt. Bouchie with a bench in his name on Magnolia Beach.  The winds were blowing and the temperatures were in the 20’s but the warmth of the crowd exhibited how much the Gloucester Fire Fighter was respected

One Hour at a Time Gang

Since the weather is starting to get cold and nasty the One Hour at a Time Gang will be taking a break for the winter.  This does not mean we will not be picking up.  We always carry a yellow bag to try and keep our city clean.  Also the city has passed a motion on litter. Please read below the information on this motion.  The motion states that cigarette butts are litter.  Please remember to dispose your smoking materials properly and not on the streets, rivers or oceans.

Hanna and Riley on a visit to Nonnie and Papa

Hanna 2 years old and Riley 4 came for an overnight visit to Papa and Nonnie.  Even in the winter time there is so much fun we can have in Gloucester.  We went to see my favorite horses and of course visited Marshall Farm to see the Alpacas.
