My View of Life on the Dock
Beautiful ship come into Gloucester on Saturday. It was wonderful talking to all the visitors from the ship. Nice to see the streets crowded with visitors from all over. Thanks for coming.

Trails and Sails this weekend included climbing up Gloucester City Hall’s Tower. Amazing views from the top. Rick and I actually went all the way to the floor above the clocks.

The Egrets are one of my favorite birds that come to visit us here on Cape Ann. Going around the rotary today spotted some in the marsh and the tide was very high.

The fog was so thick in Magnolia on Tuesday could not even see the pier, went over to the Annisquam near Wingaersheek Beach and it was clear.

From FOB Amy Kerr from Ocean Alliance states, as is the way with network news, a bigger story (NYC) has come up, and SnotBot has been pushed off the show tonight on NBC News. No new airing date yet.
Maddie, Owen, Cole, Avery came to visit last weekend. What fun we had, we had a Plan of Action and did everything. From visiting the animals a Marshalls Farm Stand, to having treats at Orange Leaf. We started on Saturday with a great big breakfast and off to Marshalls, Mile Marker’s Pool, by the way is fabulous, to Stage Fort Park, hiking Tablet Rock, swimming at Half Moon Beach, back to Papa and Nonnie’s house for a big cookout and then a movie, The Jungle Book. The love of grandchildren is something you cannot put into words. Here a couple of photos.
FOB Iain Kerr from Ocean Alliance let me know more exciting news.
Hi Donna,
We have just been told that they are airing the story on the NBC nightly news tomorrow night. Monday 19th.
I have attached a spectacular Alaska whale photo.
Watch NBC News on Monday night (19th) to see a story on Ocean Alliance. Correspondent Tom Costello came to Gloucester last week to shoot a segment on SnotBot. Mr. Costello and his team were a real pleasure to work with, we thank them for their interest in our work.

A little after 6:00 am on Thursday morning had to get out and take the early morning light.
Rick and I went for a walk late in the day on Tuesday to Rafe’s Chasm. Every time I go out to Rafe’s Chasm there it always looks different.
Congrats to our Ocean Alliance.

On Monday Sept 12th, Tom Costello from NBC Nightly News visited Ocean Alliance to shoot a story on SnotBot.
Mr. Costello was accompanied by his producer Jay Blackman, a videographer, and soundman. The weather was absolutely beautiful and the NBC team were on site from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.
Our CEO and chief SnotBot pilot Iain Kerr was interviewed and filmed flying SnotBot. Understanding the unique perspective of a drone, he offered to shoot some video of Mr. Costello for the news story with SnotBot. NBC are now heading to interview Dr. Scott Baker at Oregon State University, who is analyzing SnotBot samples from our most recent expedition to Alaska.
