Rockport Harvest Festival
On Saturday, October 19th from 10a-5p we will host the annual Rockport Harvestfest celebration featuring the best regional bounty of the season — all in an unbeatable setting.
New England food producers gather on one of Rockport’s historic working wharves to celebrate the best of #localfood with fresh #lobster #chowder #pastries #grassfedbeef #woodfiredpizza, #coldpressedjuice small-batch jams, locally-grown #produce and more. #craftbeer produced in Massachusetts are on hand, along with Rockport’s own Twin Lights, with soda crafted from the 120-year-old company’s original recipes. Cooking demonstrations take place throughout the day demonstrating the riches of harvest in #NewEngland. Entry to wharf free; drink bracelets $5 – please come and enjoy the bounty of the season!

I Am More Project from our amazing artist Amy Kerr
“I Am More: Massachusetts” Unveiling
The project that started in Cape Ann has now gone statewide, with twenty new I Am More portraits from around the state, including Cape Ann, being unveiled this weekend.
The new colored pencil and pastel portraits by Gloucester artist Amy Kerr include topics such as postpartum depression, brain cancer, dementia, anxiety, addiction, poverty, eating disorders, spinal cord injury, insecurity, sexual abuse, schizoaffective disorder, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, suicide, learning disabilities, bullying, PTSD, and surviving the Holocaust.
Portrait subjects come from Worcester, Westborough, Littleton, Burlington, Mattapan, Lynn, Reading, Leverett, Amherst, Wenham, Feeding Hills, Peabody, Lawrence, Gloucester, Newburyport and Mashpee.
