The Most Comfortable Lifestyle Sneaker- New Balance Coast V3

Susan Lipsett’s Son Recommended The Most Comfortable Lifestye Sneaker New Balance Men’s Coast V3

I have wide feet and these are light/ventilated and super comfortable.   We had a converstaion the other day about me having a tough time finding comfortable sneakers and Susan’s son told me that these sneakers are the only ones he will wear because they run wide but also so lightweight, and it’s really like you’re wearing slippers.

They are listed as running shoes, but I would really more recommend them for an everyday walking sneaker to pair with shorts, jeans or chinos.

I went to Mark Adrian’s but they told me they couldn’t order them.  Catherine Ryan went to get sneakers for her boys at the New Balance factory and picked me up a pair.  They are the same price at the factory store as they are on Amazon- purchase here

Fundraiser for Chris Larsen this Saturday

This will be a night of dancing and fun. We will have appetizers, (Cash bar) a silent auction, a raffle and a 50/50 raffle! Tickets are $20.00 each to get in. I’m going to be making up the tickets soon and they will be available to buy through my siblings, mom and I. So keep this on your schedule!

A huge shout out to the Gloucester House for throwing this awesome event!

My family is raising money for my dad Chris Larsen. He had a quadruple bypass a few days after New Years Day. While in the hospital he was put on Heparin which is a blood thinner. At the time it wasn’t known that he was allergic to it. He started to show different symptoms including blood clots and swollen legs and feet. My dad was kept on it and continued to have pain in his legs. He suffered irreversible damage to his right leg which was recently amputated below the knee and a partial toe amputation on his left foot due to gangrene. Chris is a well known guy that greets everyone with a smile at Larsen’s Shoe Store. He is a Vietnam veteran and has lived a life of service to the country and the community. He has been a stubborn Fin his entire life and never asks anyone for anything, but now he knows he is in a battle in which he needs help. We are raising money to assist with unforeseen expenses such as home renovations, medical bills, rehabilitation, and equipment he may need to make this life altering experience a little easier. Program Note: Friday 7/13 Meeting of the Gloucester Area Astronomy Club

Michael Deneen's avatarCape Ann Community

alberio

Friday night at 8:00pm, July 13, the Gloucester Area Astronomy Club is pleased to host Astronomy Magazine columnist and President of the Amateur Astronomy Makers of Boston, Glenn Chaple, with a presentation titled “Double Stars For Backyard Telescopes — Double Stars are TWICE the Fun!”

In the 19th century and early decades of the 20th, when refractors were the telescopes of choice, double stars were the favorite fare of amateur astronomers. With the discovery in the 1920s that the so-called “spiral nebulae” were actually distant galaxies and the emergence in popularity of the reflecting telescope, double stars took a back seat to deep-sky objects.

Light pollution has made it harder and harder to observe deep-sky objects, but double stars remain relatively unaffected by streetlights or the Moon. As a result, double stars are regaining popularity among backyard astronomers.

In a colorful and informative presentation, Glenn will explain the nature of…
