Shh, don’t tell anyone but I have a product that we’ll be able to retire on- Family Member Labeled Cell Phone Charging Cables!

So after buying no less than 10 lightning iPhone charging cables in the past calendar year I’m down to exactly ONE.  Yes ONE.  I have the same one from the beginning but others have somehow either lost or broken theirs.

My suspicion is that there are lots of adults that take care of their charging cables whose kids or spouses don’t necessarily take care of theirs.

Soooo these family member name cords are just what us responsible cell phone charging cable owners need.   No cord thievery.  Mom is responsible for Mom’s. Dad is responsible for Dad’s and so on down the line.

I looked it up on Amazon and they are not available.

So who wants to go in on it and have these bad boys mass-produced?

Just in time for Christmas shopping.  Let’s get it done and retire early while saving the sanity of responsible cell phone charging cable owners throughout the world!

City of Gloucester Storm Update

City of Gloucester Storm Update

5:30 PM UPDATE: Thank you Lt. Governor Karyn Polito for checking in.  Our emergency management team (Mayor’s Office, DPW, Police, Fire, and Harbormaster) has been meeting throughout the day working on preparations for this possible multi-day event.

At this time, we are still experiencing a significant number of power outages throughout the City.  We remain optimistic that power will be restored soon but are waiting for our evening update from National Grid.  However, we encourage anyone without power and/or heat to seek shelter with family and friends.

The Rose Baker Senior Center is currently open as a warming center.  The Senior Center has power, heat, cots, water/food and will be staffed by a paramedic.  If this location is utilized we will remain open overnight; if unoccupied at 9 p.m. we will close and re-open at normal business hours tomorrow. CATA is available to provide transportation from your home to the Senior Center until 9 p.m.  Please call 978-283-7916 to coordinate pick up.

Be safe and check on your elderly neighbors.  Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to deal with the aftermath of this storm event.  Stay tuned as any additional important updates will be posted on social media.

IMG_4996.jpgRestorative Yoga Class Thursdays, 11:30-12:30 at MAGMA (right after Nia class that runs from 10:15-11:15am)

Restorative Yoga is a relaxing and nurturing practice that allows the body and mind to relax and well, restore.  All you need to do is sit or lie on a mat with your body supported by bolsters, blocks and blankets.  I do all the work.  No energy or expertise required for you.  The benefits of the practice include better sleep, less anxiety, gentle stretching of the body especially the chest and shoulders, etc.

Linda was was trained in level I Rest. Yoga in the Judith Lasater tradition by Ann Biasetti in Saratoga Springs.  She will soon and be attending a level II training session in the spring of 2020 to allow for more poses and therapeutic possibilities.

Here is a link to a nice description of what Restorative Yoga is.

I hope you will try…
