I am organizing a blood drive on October 11th for Boston Children’s Hospital. So many of us on Cape Ann had benefited from the top notch care available at Children’s. We are so fortunate to be so close to this amazing hospital and the doctors and nurses who care for our children. The Bloodmobile will be parked on Railroad Ave next to CrossFit Cape Ann. There’s plenty of parking since Shaw’s is gone.
I would greatly appreciate your spreading the word on Good Morning Gloucester. This is such a great opportunity to give not only a pint of blood but a thank you to Children’s.

Thursday it’s The Far Out and Residual Groove up on The Cut stage! We are VERY excited for this one. If you love to say, “I saw them when…” about bands after they blow up, we highly suggest coming to this show. Both of these bands are on an upwards trajectory at a breakneck pace. Our prediction is they won’t be playing intimate rooms like ours for much longer… There are still tickets available. Doors at 7pm. Show at 7:30pm.
Friday Fortune makes their debut on The Cut stage. We know this band has quite the following, and we’re very eager for all the Friends of Fortune to see what an incredible venue The Cut is. Seats are sold out for this show, but there are still some GA Standing tickets available. Doors at 7pm. Show at 8pm. We will also have Keith Crocker live in the restaurant from 7pm to 10pm. Come hang a the bar with a beer and a burger and free live music!
Saturday we are thrilled to have Hey Nineteen – A tribute to Steely Dan – back up on The Cut stage. Tickets are going fast, but there are still some available! Doors at 7pm. Show at 8pm. Then we’ll have a live DJ in the restaurant from 9pm-close. Follow us on social media for pop-up DJ updates!
Sunday it’s Troy Ramey in the venue. If you love Chris Stapleton or Zach Bryan, this show is for you. There are still some seats available for this show that blends soulful music with storytelling. Doors at 7pm. Show at 7:30pm. We’ll also have ALL the football on our 9 TVs, so make sure you stop by to watch the games and enter to win a VIP Experience at our Super Bowl Party!
As always, Little Sister will be serving their Best of The North Shore award-winning burgers (and so much more) starting at 5pm each night and now starting at noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Come early and grab food before the show or stay late and refuel after dancing!

I am commander of the Sons of Gloucester American Legion Post 3
We are not veterans but are sons or grandsons of Vets.
Our mission is to assist veterans and their families.
We provide a free breakfast for Veterans and their families at the Legion building every first Sunday of the month. ( we are in our 3rd year.)
We also help cook 400-700 meals which are delivered to Veterans and other people in need on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
There are multiple events and services that we conduct all year long.
What I am asking is help in spreading the word that so many sons and grandsons of veterans are eligible to be members of our organization.
It is an opportunity to help veterans, enjoy family oriented events and feel a close relationship with those who have served our country in the military.
