Art Exhibition and Sale Supports Land Conservation
Greenbeltโs Annual Art in the Barn Event to Take Place June 14 & 15
Essex, Massachusetts โ Discover the intersection of creativity and conservation at Essex County Greenbelt Associationโs annual Art in the Barn event taking place this June 14-15. Now in its third decade, this popular event has long been recognized as one of the North Shoreโs premier art exhibitions and sales, featuring a juried selection of works by 130 regional artists. Thousands of artworks will be on display, including paintings, photographs, sculpture, ceramics, woodworking, and more.
Art in the Barn celebrates artistic talent while also supporting Greenbeltโs vital conservation mission to protect natural land and working farms across Essex County. Artists contribute 50 percent or more of their proceeds to Greenbeltโs conservation work.
This event takes place on Allyn Cox Reservation in Essex, a stunning 31-acre property with open fields and trails on the edge of the Great Marsh and the Essex River. A beautiful destination for a day trip to view art, explore a captivating landscape, and support Greenbelt.

Even though Vickie and I have lived in Florida for almost 3 years (canโt believe itโs been that long!) we still follow www.GoodMorningGloucester.com

You may have seen Joann Mackenzieโs article about my new book, โThe Faithfulโ in the GDT today. She calls it a โDan Brownish conspiracy reminiscent of a high tech The Da Vinci Codeโ adding that itโs โdeeply humanitarian, even romanticโ and โIf you are a 21st century digital citizen, then fasten your seatbelts, youโre in for a ride.โ

Most of the action in โThe Faithfulโ takes place in Cambridge, with scenes in Beverly and Gloucester (at Good Harbor Beach).
Iโd be honored to send you a copy, but I donโt have your mailing address. Can you send it to me?
Vickie and I are thrilled that youโre giving The Cut some love. Theyโve done everything right in our view. They used Jon Coretto, whom I suggested to install their extraordinary sound system. You might remember him from this GMG post 10 years ago https://goodmorninggloucester.com/2014/04/04/big-city-concert-sound-just-down-the-road-in-beverly/. And they hired Jeff Johnson, the guy who did sound for 9 Wallis and our 2020 outdoor shows in Manchester.
Please give our love to Gloucester!
