Need Better Sleep? CBD and CBN may help with their remarkable sleep promoting properties!
When it comes to sleep, not all cannabinoids are created equal. However, here are three cannabinoids that may influence your sleep patterns:
CBD
CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-psychoactive compound popular for its potential therapeutic benefits. One of its well-studied properties is its anti-inflammatory effect. It also possesses remarkable sleep-promoting properties due to its ability to calm the mind and body.
CBD also doesn’t make you high. Instead, it helps you relax and unwind, which could prove beneficial if you struggle with falling and staying asleep. Research suggests that CBD may help reduce anxiety, which can be a major barrier to falling asleep.
CBN
CBN (cannabinol), on the other hand, is a mildly psychoactive compound that forms when THC breaks down. It is known as the “sleepy cannabinoid in old weed” because users claim it induces sedation, which helps them to sleep.
Like CBD, CBN is often touted for its potential sedative effects. Some users report that CBN helps them fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. However, research on CBN’s sleep-promoting effects is limited, and more studies are needed to confirm its efficacy.
THC
THC is the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis. It can induce feelings of sleepiness and help you fall asleep faster. However, long-term, heavy use of THC may have drawbacks.
While it might help you fall asleep initially, it can alter your sleep cycles over time. Indeed, studies suggest that regular heavy THC use may reduce the duration of REM sleep, which is vital for memory consolidation and cognitive function.
If you’re considering using cannabinoids for sleep, it’s worth exploring products that combine different compounds. After all, researchers think when cannabis compounds work together, they enhance their overall therapeutic value due to the entourage effect.
While research is ongoing, many users report positive effects on their sleep patterns when using CBN.
CBN may reduce sleep disturbance and nighttime awakening, helping you fall asleep faster. This can be particularly beneficial if you struggle with racing thoughts or anxiety at bedtime.
Sleep duration is another area where CBN might offer benefits. It might improve overall sleep quality by increasing the time spent in deep, restorative sleep stages, which are crucial for physical recovery and cognitive function.
Our CBD Sleep Gummies combine CBN (5mg) with CBD (30mg) to enhance sleep-promotion. They are also melatonin-free, so they don’t disrupt your body’s natural production of the hormone.
Instead, they work naturally with your system to help regulate your circadian rhythm. We recommend that you take them consistently to enjoy high-quality sleep from now on.⃰
How Does CBN Work as a Sleep Aid?
CBN primarily binds to CB1 receptors in the brain and central nervous system. This interaction is thought to be behind CBN’s ability to promote sleep.
This cannabinoid may also offer pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory benefits, indirectly improving sleep quality. Chronic pain and inflammation often disrupt sleep patterns, so addressing these issues may lead to more restful nights.
Furthermore, by reducing anxiety—a common barrier to quality sleep—CBN could help you relax and fall asleep more easily. Anxiety is a known sleep disruptor, so keeping it in check undoubtedly enables you to sleep more easily.
Our CBD Gummies offer a blend of cannabinoids that may synergistically promote relaxation and better sleep. They are formulated to melt away feelings of worry, irritability, and negative outlooks.
Our industry-leading formula in these Gummies features ultra-calming cannabinoids CBG and CBN and a specially formulated de-stress blend of botanicals, including St. John’s Wort and chamomile to support mind and body relaxation and target feelings of anxiety for overall mood support. ⃰
Many users report positive experiences with CBN-infused products for sleep. However, everyone’s endocannabinoid system is unique, so you may need to experiment to find the right dosage for your needs.

SPRING BAGEL BREAK: We will be closed on Saturday, April 19th and Sunday, April 20th and will reopen on Saturday, April 26th. 😊

If you’re hiring especially for the summer season where you know it’s gonna be busy…
No one gives a fuck about your craft cocktail program if they can’t get a drink served quickly, efficiently and with a smile. When hiring bar staff, hire animals that can get it done rather than prima donna artisans that move as slow as molasses. You wanna master something? Master how to push a Tito’s soda or beer across the bar as efficiently as possible. I don’t need a fancy artisanal drink if it’s going to take 20 minutes and the bar is lined with empty glasses. Let’s have a summer!
Foundation (CACF) will launch its annual Cape Ann License Plate Auction on April 11, and this year, the weeklong program will include new opportunities to bid for custom plates.
In addition to remaining low-number
Cape Ann license plates – those between 1-100 – this year’s auction will for the first time include 3- and
4-digit plates expected to be particularly popular, including local area codes and exchanges, zip codes, and dates when the Cape Ann communities were founded.
The six remaining low-number plates are 66, 78, 79, 88, 91 and
92. Some examples of the special
3- and 4-digit plates include 525, 9130 and 2025. Bidding on low-number plates will begin at $1000 and special custom plates at $500.
Any Massachusetts resident who wants to display their love and support for Cape Ann will have a chance to secure these special
Cape Ann license plates. The low-number plates and the special 3- and
4-digit plates will be made available to the highest bidders through the weeklong auction, which will end on April 21. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Cape Ann Community Foundation (CACF), which uses the funds raised to enable grants to local non-profit initiatives and organizations.
For more information on the auction and to register to bid,
visit http://www.lovecapeann.com. The site also has information on how to request other specific plates through the Foundation as well as the easy steps to order a random Cape Ann license plate through the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles.
There are still thousands of random plates still available, for a payment of just $40 every other year. These plates are typically delivered within 10 days, with no need to go to a Registry of Motor Vehicles office.
“The revenue generated through our annual auction is essential to the work of the Foundation, providing funds we use to enable grants to Cape Ann non-profit organizations,” said Britta Cahoon, co-chair of the Cape Ann Community Foundation board of directors.
“The Cape Ann License Plate has become much sought-after, and the auction is the best way to secure the most popular numbers, all while helping to support important local initiatives,
” said Foundation Co-Chair Tony Sapienza.
Those who already have a Cape Ann license plate may still support the Foundation by donating on www.lovecapeann.com.
For more information about the Cape Ann License Plate Auction and for assistance in obtaining a Cape Ann license plate, call the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce at 978-283-1601 or visit the Chamber office at 24 Harbor Loop in Gloucester.
To preview and pre-register for the auction visit the Cape Ann
