Moral of the story: embrace your passion for Swiss, mozzarella, pepper jack, cheddar, American and goat – today is our day.

Hey Joey,
I wanted to send this along to you. If you choose to post to Good Morning Gloucester or not that is fine. I realize things can get tricky when you support one cause and not all of them. I figured I would just share the story and you can do what you want with it.
I don’t know if you ever met Terri and Bob Jones. They had 4 children; 3 daughters and one son. Jessica (Jones) Martineau her husband and 3 daughters live in Nahant. Her 19-month old (twin) daughter was just diagnosed with cancer last week. Friends and family have started a Go Fund Me page for them. https://www.gofundme.com/teammila
As I said the family is spread throughout the US, I believe one sister still lives in Gloucester. I am sure there are many deep connections here and it would be great if the community could give back.

Women are being warned about the dangers of a “womb detox” product after health experts said it could cause irritation and even toxic shock syndrome.
The pearls – small balls of perfumed herbs – are sold in one or two-month packages, with packages on sale for between $85 and $480.
Another package – claims to promote “vaginal tightening”, which it says works by “tightening the womb” so the “vaginal canal will shrink”.
The company says the herb pearls are designed to “cleanse the womb and return it to a balance state” by flushing out “toxins”.
In a blogpost, the company said the pearls could be issued in the same way natural solutions like oranges and lemons can be used to counteract a cold.
But a sexual health expert insisted that not only were the “pearls” ineffective, but they could be dangerous.
Dr Jen Gunter, a US gynecologist, wrote a blog post debunking the company’s claims and saying these types of products – and the herbs used in them – have not been tested for vaginal use.
She wrote: “Your uterus isn’t tired or depressed or dirty and your vagina has not misplaced its chakra.
“They want no real help from you unless there is something wrong and they will tell you there is something wrong by bleeding profusely or itching or cramping badly or producing an odor.”
She explained that the vagina was like “a self-cleaning oven” and putting anything like this in the vagina for long periods of time will increase the likelihood of bad bacteria growing and causing infection.

Do journalists get rewarded for posting such obvious troll job statements just for clicks? Like as far as being a respected journalist at what point do you just throw all your integrity out the window in favor of getting clicks on your twitter profile? Do you think the NFL Network encourages it’s writers to write such obvious horseshit to trump up the next meeting between The Patriots and The Broncos in The AFC Championship game so they can act like Manning is still playing anywhere near the same level as Tom Brady is?

You’re welcome for this friendly reminder from your boy Joey. I love all these people who say how cute these animals are. Fact is every one of them would eat the shit out of you given the chance. Even Sista Felicia’s precious Coconut.
What amazes me about this video is how they just let the race go on and act so nonchalant after car after car go toppling ass-over-teakettle.
Ho-Hum. Just another racer doing six flips in his car. Let’s get him out of the way quick so we can watch the next guy try to flip his car 7 times.
Good times.
I left the house for work this morning much like I would every morning we’ve had this season- dressed like it was still fall. A long sleeve dry fit shirt under a heavy pullover. Been fine like that right up til when I opened the door this morning to see the first decent amount of snow accumulation. Took me a bit to clear the truck off and I was covered and cold without gloves in the truck to clear it off. So the point is, as of 5:00AM we’ve got 2.75 inches if snow and it’s cold so dress for it and leave yourself a little extra time to clear off the car and drive safely to wherever you need to go.
I hope this doesn’t turn out like last year when we didn’t have it too bad til the middle of January and then it just came coming relentlessly right through April.

A preliminary drawing was discussed outlining the new possible location for the Farmer’s Market. Amongst several proposed improvements, my favorite was the idea to connect, via a new trail, Stage Fort Park to Ravenswood. GENIUS!! A commitment was made to continue to work with the Cape Ann Farmer’s Market, Cyclocross, festivals, neighbors, and all interested parties. Looking forward to learning more!

“It’s never what people do that makes us angry; it’s what we tell ourselves about what they did.”
Marshall Rosenberg (1934 – 2015)
An Ohio native who grew up in what he described as “a rough neighborhood in Detroit,” Rosenberg attended Cooley High School and went on to the University of Wisconsin at Madison, receiving a PhD in Clinical Psychology in 1961. He was active in the civil rights movement and in educational reform where he observed passionate debate and even hatred from both sides of these contentious issues. As a response, he founded the Center for Nonviolent Communication in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a training center for those engaged in peacemaking and conflict resolution. His training sessions and programs have been employed in 60 countries around the world and have served as a model in South Africa, Israel, Yugoslavia, and Afghanistan.

Check out the live smoke and results at www.northeastbbq.com
Two hours in I wasn’t satisfied with the color, and the Weber Smokey Mountain had been cruising along at 225. I opened the fuel door and saw quite a bit of charcoal had been used up. Figuring we needed another two hours of heat and looking for a little more heat I fired up 2/3 a chimney of briquettes and added them to the charcoal basket. I also mixed up a container of a couple of tablespoons of Stubbs BBQ sauce, a couple of ounces of apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of tabasco sauce and spritzed the ribs.

The snow has stopped, it’s just raw and cold out but the extra lit charcoal has helped the temps on the pit climb.

2:45PM Pull the ribs off the pit and foil them.

A drizzle of honey, a drizzle of Sweet Baby Rays and a light sprinkle of brown sugar. Ribs foiled meat side down and back on the smoker.

Follow along for the live snowstorm Baby back ribs live smoke session at http://www.northeastbbq.com
All month long I’ve been looking forward to the first Patriots playoff game to smoke up some ribs for the crew. Babyback ribs were on sale so I picked up three racks and looked at the forecast yesterday which said the rain and snow was supposed to stop between noon and 2pm today.
Well fast forward to today and there’s no rain at all, instead it’s a full on sideways huge wind snowstorm.
Not to be deterred by the weather we forge ahead!
Babybacks were on sale at Stop and Shop yesterday but they didn’t have them in yet and would be frozen so I went to Market Basket, paid a little more from them but they were in the case unfrozen.

Took the ribs out of the cryovac and gave them a thorough rinse.

Next piercing the sinewy membrane on the bone side of the ribs and peeled off…
