Here’s mine. I still haven’t had a chance to clean her up but with a little elbow grease she’ll be looking close to looking new.

Gloucester, MA – Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken, with the City’s Health Department, Sawyer Free Library and the Rose Baker Senior Center, in cooperation with community partners Action, Inc., The Open Doorand the Grace Center, are providing warming centers for vulnerable residents during extreme-cold weather events.
After last winter’s February 14th cold-snap, Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken formed a taskforce with City department directors and community leaders to establish a comprehensive cold-weather response to help ensure the health and safety of residents without permanent housing. The result is a plan, presented in March, that assures those who need shelter from the extreme cold will have a place in the community where they can stay warm.
“When temperatures drop this low, our city has an obligation to help those in need to stay warm,” said Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken. “We don’t want anyone out in the cold which is…

It’s time to take inventory on what and/or who you no longer need in your life…
I’m not a fan of Keurig coffee makers. We use one currently at the house only because it’s what’s there, but honestly, there’s not one K-cup that I’d say I was crazy about.
We’re looking for a new coffee maker for the house that may or may not be a Christmas present for someone ;).
What do you guys recommend?
Leave me a comment on this post on a coffee maker that you love and I’ll list them out and research them.
Right now Gizmodo highly recommends the Bonavita BV1800 8-Cup Coffee Maker
It looks nice and gets good reviews and I’m leaning this way but am curious what my awesome readers have to say.

Another “Babson Boulder?”..
Came across this plaque in a spot that hundreds of people go by every day but probably never notice. Been going by there myself for six years and never noticed until I walked by with the leaves off the trees.

I didn’t think there could possibly be enough room in our little backyard. But Backyard Growers came, and before I knew it, there was our garden. I couldn’t believe that I’d end up with food for my family if I just followed their directions. Plant some seeds. Water. Weed. The veggies appeared. And my kids actually ate them! Magic.
We’ve had our ups and downs. One summer Chris was injured and out of work. I was working, mothering, pregnant and tired, and money was tight. Our garden was the constant. Plant some seeds. Water. Weed. Magic.
Last fall, I got sick. Doctor visits, chemo and long hospital stays threw our family into a tailspin. I told my 3-year-old Dash, “Mom will be better when the plants come up.” I kept looking at my garden, praying that would happen.
Then Backyard Growers came.
I never asked for help, they just came. They planted my garden with such care and purpose. They brought bins of new soil. Their rows of seeds were so straight and evenly spaced. And the plants grew. Magic.
If you ever wonder about what a garden does for a person, a family, a community, come visit me on Harold Ave. Ask any of the kids. You grow a garden, magic happens!
You are part of this magic in our community. Thank you. So many in Gloucester struggle to put food on the table, and with your support, Backyard Growers can help.
Will you help us reach our $10,000 goal and build 40 more gardens next year by giving today? Every $250 raised is another garden. Another family’s table full of fresh, healthy food.
Another opportunity for magic.
Love,
Peggy Lyman, Backyard Growers Participant

24 Inch Full HD Screen. Once you use a nice large display like this you’ll never want to squint into a tiny laptop again.
This isn’t for a power user like me that crunches huge videos and needs insane processing power. This is for everyone else that just likes to check their email, watch some YouTube videos, or Skype call their family members across the country. This offers everything 95% of people need but it comes at the cheap price because you’re not buying super crazy high end processors which like I said 95% of people never need.
It all comes with the pedestal stand and one-cord set up with wireless keyboard and mouse which even my mother could set up.
If you’re looking for a great computer (Rick Ardizzoni recommends Dells and it’s all I buy now because they are rock solid) for a cheap price with a nice big display this is the computer for you. If you are not editing HD videos all day or playing next year’s super high intense graphics computer games (if you’re over the age of 28 I’m guessing you’re not) then this is all the computer you need. It also comes with Windows 10 which is the best operating system Microsoft has ever put out. I hate seeing older people go to Best Buy and get up-selled into thinking they need an i7 processor and a terabyte of storage when they don’t need to spend $1000 and any one of them would be thrilled to be doing their computer stuff on this nice sleek system with a great sized screen for them to look at.
24 inch pedestal screen and built in speakers make it so you don’t have that tangled mess of wires running all over the place. This is a sleek computer at a total value of a price.
And if you need help setting it up you can call the guy I call for all my computer needs- Donna’s Husband Rick Moore Ardizzoni. He’s the best for your computer needs- 978-526-9222 http://www.circleconsulting.com/
So there you go, my pick for 95% of normal computer users value computer-
Dell Inspiron 24 3000 Series All-In-One (Intel Core i3, 8 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD)
Friday I drove two hours to Bristol RI to rescue this 1978 Classic Metal Bowl Handle Redhead Weber Kettle. It belonged to a guy’s parents who had it in their garagefor years. Look at the dust. She is going to clean up beautifully. Rare red, especially in this kind of shape 38 years old.

Found this Blue Stainless Steel Blue EI Code ’97 Weber Performer. There are a lot of aficionados that say that the Stainless steel Table Performers with their sturdy black frames are the most timeless of the four generations of Performers. They haven’t made a stainless steel version of the Performers since so they are highly sought after. i’ll clean this baby up an dit will blow your socks off. Timeless beauty, timeless functionality.

So what say you? Am I crazy for enjoying this hobby? Vote in the poll and leave your comments on this post.
