Thursday night blues jam to host Orville Giddings @ The Rhumb Line 4-28-2011

Dave says,

This time around, we feature our main  man from Ipswich: the one and only ORVILLE GIDDINGS. We’re forcing him  to change out of his overalls and put down that rake. This cat has a smile that makes Chernobyl look like a  busted light bulb. Singer, dancer, vogelizer, and celebrity landscaper, too. It’s always a raised pleasure dot every time he joins us.
Fooling around behind all this will be that highly polished hood ornament: Mr. Steevie Chaggaris, on the eggbeaters and other symbols. Stee-vee  has just spent a harrowing nite in the Rockport cooler after getting stopped for refusing to wear a Greek fishing hat.
Of course, Greg Tee and myself will be there, too, to round everything off to the nearest eighth note. Don’t forget…it’s  steak nite too, so if you’ve got a hankerin’ for some beefsnake, this is the place to be. and again, thank you all for your continued support.

Thursday Night Blues Party has Andrew Clark performing

A special treat for you this week as we drag in Mr. Andrew Clark, the Tootin’ Torquemada of the Tenor, kicking and screaming his way to your hearts. Singer, gunslinger, and beefcake model, AC is sure to  get your aorta begging for mercy. Behind him, playing eggbeaters and fearful of his life will be our favorite Irish dish, Mr. Benny Benson. We love these guys. Of course, Greg T. and myself will be there, too, desperately trying to  staunch the flow. Roomer has it that some special guests on tenor and barium sax will be showing up. It’s also Steak nite, where the kitchen puts out a very good slab o’ meat designed with your mind in mind. Great prices, too. Also, there’s a new Whine list, with some amusing little numbers for your delectation. Czech it out!

It’s gonna be a Bang Bang Weekend for the Bandit Kings

This band is a whole lotta fun. Always mixing it up with new songs. They have many originals to enjoy and their stage presence is very entertaining as well. If you can sit still I will be totally amazed. Plus if you do not get enough of them  at one gig there is always the other and perchance, take a trip over the bridge to get out of Dodge, so to speak.

Thursday Night Blues Jam at the Rhumb Line To Host Ed Scheer and Mario Perrett

A few words from Dave,

This thursday at the Rhumb Line features  the Batman and Robin of the music world: that dynamic duo of Ed “Ed” Scheer and Mario Perrett. Eddie, being one of our favorite drumblers and focalists gotta drag out our buddy Mario, movie star ,and cutie-pie saxist, for a cruize around the block every once in a while. So, the \world will come to a screeching halt upon the stage  as we tie up the hands of time, and make it scream uncle. Rheum-er has it that there will be a plentitude of sit-ins and  spit-ups. You won’t wanna miss it.
And then Sunday, Mark Earley Productions® is proud to present….me. Once again , Mark is forcing me to play with some incredible Jazz musicians at THE STONE SOUP in IPSWICH. From 5 to 8 p.m. I’ll be cranking it out with such immortals as  John Hyde, on keys, Jim Gwin, Fred’s brother, on skins, Tom Palance, Jack’s brother, on trumpet, and  Mark Earley on saxes . Should be a hoot. Free bibs for every fan if you make it past the first set. Food is pretty good, too ,I hear .
