No way they could eat it all….I got to have a taste and it was so good.

I had the spinach and cheddar omelet…..light on the cheese…….Delicious!

Fort Square Cafe is my favorite place to have breakfast. You can tell when a cook cares about what they send out to you and Heidi is the best!

The Brad Byrd Band~Saturday night @ MinglewoodAtLat43 ~ From 9-12

I absolutely love Brad Byrd and have all of  his CD’s. There’s just something about that voice that grips you and the songs that he sings are so heartfelt. I am sure many of you can identify with the lyrics. Go see Brad Byrd and his band and have a look at the links below to get familiar if you are not already. My favorite song of all time.”ReleaseMe”

Thursday night blues party with Dave Sag……..Tonight’s special guest Mark Earley @ The Rhumb Line

See what Dave has to say,

Well, we’ve got repeat offenders this Thursday at the Rhumba Line, so let’s welcome back that notorious nabob of the saxophone: Mr. Marque Earley. He’s been busy scrounging $50 gigs everywhere, so I’m more than happy to help him out. This cat is so fear-inspiring that everybody but me is afraid of him and his metamucilical stylings. So, I’m bringing in the heavy guns in the form of Mr. Pall Foss, old college chum and recipient of the Bob Mobilio Award for excellence in the field of musical theory. He’s driving down from Bangor, Maine. I hope he can find the place. If he mows down a deer on the way down, we won’t go hungry. We’re gonna play the new stuff. Paul’s a quick-draw pianist and polka wizard, known far and wide for his ability to laugh at anything, anywhere, anytime. You need this.
Following the proceeding will be one of my favorite drumbalists: Mr. Forrest “Gump” Padgett, king of the wild frontier. Solid as a rock, and twice as heavy. Of course, Mr. Greg T. and myself complete the roundup. Come early for free polka lessons. Kielbasa tasting party starts at 9 P.M. Who loves ya, baby!

HUMAN JUKEBOX @ The Rhumb Line May 6, 2012~7:00 -10:00

Johnny Rockwell & The Human Jukebox will be playing the Rhumbline from 7-10 pm. Featuring singer/leader John Rockwell, drummer Gordon Baird and guitarist Dave “Dwayne” Koen, this Beatlesque quartet will soothe what ails you as it propels you to the dance floor to sing out and careen to the classics still playing in your head. The early hour is tailor-made to listeners who lived these songs in the 60’s but relive them in the themes of their lives. Excellent chow and a great party atmosphere round out a fun, inexpensive rockin’  evening at the Rhumbline to really kick off Spring.

Go see/hear Johnny Carwash ~The Dave Sag Blues Party Tonight @ The Rhumb Line 9:00-12:00

Dave says,

I’ve had my third martini…the bombing will start in 5 minutes….Put on your bicycle helmet and welcome back Mr. Bobby Davis, Johnny Carbuncle hisself. Secret agent man, carpet-bombing maven of surf mayhem, and self-inflicted master of finger-scratching sonic sounds, this guy makes me feel like I’m sixteen again, except for the lack of synapse connection. We’ll be resurrecting mod surfing hits, blues amalgams, and T.V. theme songs ad nauseam, all for you , the beneficiaries of  painful ear-bleeding. We’re gonna set our amps on “stun” and open our pants to let you in for the biggest thing that’s happened to you all month!
Stomping on the brakes will be that friendly drummer, Mr. Jeff Casper, on eggbeaters and waits and measures, grinding his molars and setting new standards. Of course, Greg T. and his party hat will be there, and me, too, on base and ready to slide into home plate. Rheumer has it that certain sit-ins and spit-ups may rear up and show their true nature. Come Earley, and stay late! Bring cash only!

Love this one by ” Johnny Carwash” There something about a sorrowful guitar, violin, harp…. ect.

Dave Sag’s Blues Party tonight with Orville Giddings @ The Rhumb Line

Thursday – 9:00 to 12:00

Dave says,

It’s Ragnarock ‘n’ Roll time this week as we welcome back the happiest guy I know: Mr. Orville Giddings.  Guffawing glitarist, landscraper and talented songwriter/ singer, this guy always brightens up my day. His 1000 watt smile always makes me wish I was wearing welding goggles! It’s always an honor to have him play with us. Hope I can remember his songs!
He’ll be backed up by another fine giggler, Mr. Steve Chaggaris on the skins. He’s the Kojak of the kit. Who loves ya, baby? Always muttering and tee-heeing profusely. Of course, Mr. Greg T. with his flower pot hat and myself on base will be there, too, just in case. A fine night for anything remotely connected with the itmosphere! See you there!
