I’ll be the first to admit I can’t stand screaming kids. As a previous diner owner, I absolutely couldn’t stand the sound of a screaming child. Now, if I had to listen to 45 minutes of it, I honestly don’t know what I would have said to the parent. I probably wouldn’t have said anything and gave a dirty look. I understand the whole “different parenting approach” parents are taking these days but some things gotta give.
I raise my children with discipline and yes, it starts as early as 2 years old. Take your screaming child outside the restaurant and handle it. No one wants to hear your screaming child while you’re browsing on your smart phone.
Parenting approach:
Do you ignore your screaming child in a public place and let it continue for ever?

Do you discipline your child and make it stop?

Whatever Joey……….
Last time I checked we drove on the right side of the road in this country right?
So why is it when I’m driving down a narrow street and the person coming towards me is hugged all the way to their left and then they have to swerve so they don’t hit ME head on? AND I get a dirty look like I did something wrong?

Let’s face it, not all gals like a “bad boy” and not all gals like “wicked super nice guy”. I like guys that are a little bit of both. (well my husband is at least) This concept is so easy for us gals to understand but guys just don’t get it.
Obviously ladies love compliments from their guy but can it ever be too much? Nothing wrong with a guy saying in front of a group of friends “look how HOT my lady is today” Thats cute but when does it become over kill? Some guys think it’s never too much.
I for one, think at certain point it will no longer sound genuine.

Yea I’m the weirdo in aisle 13 smelling all the laundry detergent. Growing up my mom ONLY used Tide. Now, I go for whatever smells better. Watch out if there’s a new cool looking label i’ll smell them all.
Do you stick with one brand for detergents? or really anything else for that matter?
In this particular situation I’m at the hair salon. There are 6 chairs, 3 on each side and no one sitting in them. Which chair do you choose?
I chose the one on the end, the next person chose to skip a chair and so forth. So now there are 3 chairs open because people skipped a chair.
There are people standing because there are “no chairs”. Why do you think that is? People scared of germs? invading space? antisocial?
If you notice this is a common theme in our lives. Just another thing I ponder sitting here with no one near me.
I honestly do not know who to blame for the lack of common sense adolescents have these days.
These young adults are graduating from college, some with double majors and they can’t even follow a direction??
Is it me or does that not make any sense??
Bad enough some schools took cursive out of the curriculum and they
DO NOT EVEN KNOW HOW TO SIGN THEIR NAME???
Honestly, I want my kids to know how to sign their name, balance a check book, pay bills AND do their own laundry in college. I want them to know how to fill out New Hire paperwork and know what a tax form looks like.
I am a HUGE sushi fan and also a fan of reasonably priced sushi.
Sushi can literally be served on a paper place and I would eat it. BUT can you stand how beautiful this art work is?

Let’s face it, as much as everyone loves to be friendly with the peace, love and happiness there are times we just don’t want to talk to people. How many people do you see and talk to just in the market? It’s impossible to get through the market with out conversing!
I often don’t make eye contact because I figured if I can’t see them, they can’t see me right? (sounds good in theory)
If we spot someone we will casually turn around and walk the other way in the hopes they leave the market before making that inevitable eye contact.
How far have you gone just to avoid the awkward conversation somewhere?
