December 2007. That’s when I launched the blog.
While seeing many blogs come and go, or vanish a couple of months after launching, it’s been our team that has been creating content for our community for almost two decades.
Thanks to my friends that submit their stories, photos and community announcements to make everyone touched by it enriched. 100,000 posts over 19 years comes to roughly 14.5 posts a day, every day over that span. That’s unwavering dedication and I couldn’t be prouder of our team.

Yes, Joey — thanks to YOU and all your wonderful contributors, GMG is always the “first to know” and also takes all of us old timers (a.k.a. those who joined way back in 2007) to places we might not have know about. Also, the beauty of Gloucester and Cape Ann is almost always on display in someone’s gorgeous photos. I’m sure that the businesses, artists, and events have grown because of GMG’s spotlights on them. Keep on keepin’ on!
