  1. OMG, this development is so atrocious, and Mayor Verga told my friend shortly BEFORE THE ELECTION, when work had stopped on the property, that the project was not permitted and would be halted. However, the day after Verga got re elected, work began in earnest on the land and is now ongoing. The idyllic feel of this area is gone forever. I can’t believe the abutters aren’t outraged and didn’t red flag this. I’m so grateful I got to enjoy this wonderful winding respite during my lifetime. Those who moved here because they love the uniqueness of it all, are succeeding in ruining it. ITS OVER. How big can you build???

Please go to this meeting and voice your opinion. I am not sure how many units will be allowed, but based on builder’s website it is townhouses.

Here is what they look like… https://mareagloucester.com/

It is a disaster zone down there that will have a significant impact on wildlife and ecosystem and coastline.

  3. I think this is a smaller project on the left side of the road before you go into the Wingearsheek parking lot, not the large project on the right side.
