Glen T. MacLeod Cape Ann YMCA Celebrates 2 Year Anniversary

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our birthday breakfast and panel discussion to celebrate our second year in our new location. It wouldn’t be a celebration without great company, impactful discussions, and a ‘happy birthday’ song from our Early Learning Program. Special shout out to our Executive Director Erina McWilliam-Lopez and our wonderful panel, Elaine McKechnie, Gerald MacKillop, Glen MacLeod, Jack Meany, Tim Flaherty, George Lieser and Chris Lovasco, who shared how the Y and the Gloucester community has impacted their lives and the lives of their families. In just two years, the new Cape Ann Y celebrates more than 11,000 members, nearly $1 million in financial assistance provided so everyone has access to the Y, and more than 400 children learning the life saving skill of swimming through our swim lesson program.
