EXHIBIT OF MIXED MEDIA AT NORTHSHORE UNITARIANUNIVERSALIST CHURCH IN DANVERS

Event Date: MARCH 3- APRIL 30,2023

Reception: APRIL 30, 2023 12:00 PM-2:00 PM

The Art group, PaperwOrrk, is presenting an exhibit of mixed media in the church
meeting room in Danvers during the months of March and April. Brian, Theresa and Ailene Orr, also known as PaperwOrrk, are a father and daughter team who
create colorful art pieces out of handmade paper and recycled materials. Inspired by the papers and previous work with stained glass, Brian became excited about creating art with paper and the rest is history. These interesting art pieces are created through an intricate process, starting with a sketch and then using bright papers to ‘color' their drawings, consulting on one another’s work in the process. These works can take weeks or months to complete. During the day, Brian is a pediatrician in Gloucester, Theresa is a clinical social worker in Lynn and Ailene is a bilingual teacher in Cambridge. However, the family has a history with various art modalities including sketch, painting, clay, and glass work. What began as a hobby a few years ago is beginning to receive attention in the area, with some of their pieces on display at Boston Children's Hospital in their Boston and Peabody clinics, as well as at the PACE Center in Revere.

Fine art reproductions are available on canvasses or watercolor paper  through paperworrk1.wixsite.com or via email at paperworrk1@gmail.com or through Cape Ann Giclee. Prices vary based on size and print type. You can follow them on Instagram @paperworrk to be updated on new productions as well as sales and the gallery’s involvement in the community. Works can be done on commission as well by contacting them through Instagram or Gmail. Thank you
