My View of Life on the Dock

What a great Friday morning watching the O’Maley’s great 8th graders launch their two rowboats that were built over at the Essex Shipbuilding Museum. What an inspiration watching the hard work the kids, teachers and staff at The Essex Shipbuilding Museum put into this project.
We should be very proud of these kids.
All are invited to the clean-up of Burnham’s Field tomorrow (Saturday, June 17) at 8 a.m. (rain or shine). Can you believe it’s our 4th annual clean-up? (the photo below is from one of our past clean-ups) Bring a rake or broom or gloves or just yourself – we’ll bring the yellow trash bags! Burnham’s Field is the largest green space and ball field in central Gloucester. There’s plenty of parking in the lot at 4 Sargent Street. Thanks in advance and see you Saturday morning!

Went over to Sand to City’s new store in Rockport. Very cute, it is across the street from Tucks Candy. Lisa showed me around and enjoyed the great gifts.
This Sunday in honor of Father’s Day, dads and grand-dads will enjoy 1/2 price admission from 10-1 when accompanied with their kids. Visit our Sea Pocket Aquarium and look for the Atlantic Wolffish. Male wolffish keep watch and protect their nests for up to four months until the eggs hatch. Happy Father’s Day! For more information on our hours and programs, please visit http://www.maritimegloucester.org.
Viva San Pietro! Sista Felicia made a batch of her annual St. Peter’s Fiesta Sugar Cookies for her Cummares & family! So beautiful! (I’m sure they are yummy too, but no way am I eating mine!) #sugarcookies #stpetersfiesta2017 #italiantradition #siciliantradition

A few pics of the Photographers from last night’s reception for the “Where is it?” exhibit in the Matz Gallery at the Sawyer Free Library. It will be there until the end of June so stop in and see if you can figure out the locations
I took some not so great images of these awesome photos…definitely stop by and see in person!
We were late getting home for dinner and bed, but how do you not stop and snap some photos of this…

These types of activities have many incredible benefits including increases in cardiovascular heath, lower blood pressure, and stress relief (health.harvard.edu) Nothing wrong with that!
