Rockport Turkeys are smarter. They vanished a few weeks ago and will not be lolly-gagging in the road until the day after Thanksgiving.

It seems that Cape Ann has a healthy population of wild turkeys, so I wonder whether any readers have ever eaten one. It’s hard to imagine that they’re as tasty as a store-bought Butterball, or perhaps they have lots of taste, but they’re tougher and gamier. Anyone have some first-hand experience?
