This is really a stunning photo. It offers a perfect perspective of the soaring steeple. Looking at the photo, the viewer’s eyes are drawn upward and away from themselves; which is, of course, the perspective that the best religions teach—-focus away from oneself and toward a higher purpose. And as if that weren’t enough, the photo is also just lovely to look at! I think this and other photos of American steeples would make a beautiful and interesting book!
