  1. First!!! I am so over hot hot wings. This is a category I can rule.

Only problem is I am going to be in Ithaca NY the day before and there is a tiny chance I won’t make it back. If I throw my hat in and don’t show I am forever going to be branded as the “all talk, no eat” dude who can talk a good line but when it comes down to the molars munching the munchies it’s all hot air.

But you’re in my specialty. I know my scoville units and 30,000 doesn’t scare me. (OK I am full of it there.) Bring on those scotch bonnet laden poultry!

    1. Oh yeah. I think a wing is not completely eaten until all of the meat and gristly parts are sucked off the ends of the ulna, radius and humerus. If done crispy the metacarpus and phalanges should be consumed too but that might be getting a little too specific. I’ll eat them and not disparage someone who passes on that little crunchy tip. Some places clip the metacarpus and phalanges off. Boo I say.

I would go for a rule that states the ulna, radius and humerus are to be sucked clean to be counted.

Drives me crazy the way my daughter eats them without even pulling apart the ulna radius. “You gonna eat that” is said at our table a few times when we have wings. (I drive her crazy but that’s my job.)
