After the fireworks on Sunday night, when everything is winding down, around 11:30, the statue of St. Peter is carried through the Fort. The group stops along the way at the homes of those who have lived in the Fort for years. Confetti is thrown and the crowd shouts “Viva San Pietro!”. As the festivities close, St. Peter is placed back in the window at the Club until June of the next year.
