The family can’t be too far away, did you give
a look around, Joey? Is that really what seagulls
do? Was this near your dock?

I looked everywhere but no sight of the family. Unfortunately yes that is what seagulls do. You should see what they do to a wounded pigeon. It’s like they know right where to go because they always pluck and rip at the breast where the most meat is first. In the end all that’s left is a pile of feathers and the beak.
