atitude 43 Pub Area, originally uploaded by captjoe06.
Forgot to post this pic of the pub area at Latitude 43. Not a great shot but it gives an idea of the space for those that are interested.

Looks like progress is being made on the Adventure.

I just love this place. Every time I walk in I feel like I’ve known the girls for years and they are always willing to accomodate my tweaking of the dishes.
The prices are reasonable. The ingredients the freshest and it shows in the tasty dishes they prepare. Another reason Gloucester is the best place in the world to live- funky joints like Chili Choice.

Got this pic from the Mrs.
Snoop Mad was cooing in her crib and I shot up like a rocket to heat up her bottle but has since stopped.
Now I’m faced with the dilemma.
Should I stage a preemtive attack and risk waking her to feed her the bottle or should I stare at the ceiling wondering for the next 3 hours if she is gong to wake again?

Sleep tight for Daddy.
Havin fun with daddy.
Everyone got up at 5:30AM. Nice.
Two diaper changes in Snoop Mad’s crib and then downstairs to get The Bean some breakfast. Toast with peanut butter and raisins, 1 and a half slices (she likes daddy’s cooking).
1/2 jar of baby food for Snoop Mad and 4 oz of formula, no oatmeal.
Put on some Bob Marley and danced around for a half hour and put Snoop Mad down on the floor with her egg toys while I unloaded the dishwasher and made bottles for the day.
Picked up and got the Bean ready for school which went surprisingly well after I told her she could wear her crocs.
Snoop Mad took another monster dump and God only knows how the hell The Bean does such monster Mr Hankey sized craps, but she is pretty damn good at going to her potty on her own and taking off her jammies with the feet in them without making a mess.
We are kicking ass and taking names here!
Fun City!
Well, it’s official. I have Snoop Maddie Mad and the Bean til Friday afternoon without the Mrs. She is off to NYC for the Martha Stewart Show and dinner at TAO.
YIKES!
First time having the kids by myself overnight. I am up to the challenge. They will not break me.
I hope.
Latitude 43 Sushi Pit, originally uploaded by captjoe06.The centerpiece of the place is the sushi pit.
I guess they were a man down, operating with two sushi chefs. Overheard in the pit was that one of the sushi chefs quit because he was taking the train from Boston and they closed after the last train left to get him home.
We had a spicy tuna roll, excellent. A California roll, also excellent made with real crab. Edamame which I prefer with a little more salt and a shrimp tempura roll which we both didn’t care for because the shrimp wasn’t crispy in the roll and found the addition of carrot to be odd.
Compared to Sushi Island, Latitude 43 had one roll that was slightly better, one that was as good and the other that wasn’t close. The room at Latitude 43 is beautiful and lends itself to community conversation which I dig.
The prices were higher but reasonable when you take the room into consideration.
