The One Hour at Time will be helping out at this important event at Good Harbor Beach on Saturday. Please try to come out and help.
We are coordinating our second annual 5K/10K Race on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 in Good Harbor Beach Thatcher Road Gloucester, MA 01930.
As a disabled veteran, I am passionate and committed to the mission of the Boston’s Wounded Veteran Run, and I look forward to coordinating and organizing this event to benefit wounded veterans.
If you or your organization would like to donate goods (i.e. waters, event supplies, etc.) or help volunteer at the event, we would be grateful for donations of goods and services.
This organization has successfully organized four motorcycle runs over the past four years with more than 4,000 riders, and we would like to build off this success. Boston’s Wounded Veteran Run has recognized and honored wounded veterans for their service and have helped veterans with special home accommodations to restore his/her morale.
There is a 5k and 10k on Saturday Oct 3rd at Good Harbor to benefit Boston Wounded Veterans. This is a LOCAL non-profit, where 100% of the proceeds go back to helping local veterans.
We are still offering same day registration and seeking volunteers to help with the race. If you can help direct the runners, help with registration or man a water stop please let me know!! I can be reached at mcoxward2@gmail.com or 978-631-9015. Volunteers should arrive around 7:30am at the Good Harbor Parking lot and dress for wet weather.
I have purchased a race entry for anyone who would like to do the race! First one to claim it gets to do the 5k!!
