How cute are these little ducklings. It was foggy and drizzling, but these ducks were having fun.

When walking on Shore Road, saw Phil Keating taking a swim. Phil has plunged in the cold water before. He is a very nice guy and very funny. Congratulations to Phil for doing what most of us would run to a heated car.
It was getting dark and windy, so the photos are a little grainy.

Thad and Vince taking a swim off Magnolia Pier on a very cold evening. So fun.

If you are anything like me, its difficult to enjoy swimming when the water is icy cold. For the past three days, its been delightfully warm, even late in the afternoon, which is the time of day when I usually take a break from work to go for a walk (or swim). I’m heading over to the beach again this afternoon and hoping for four swimming days in a row!
The GoMOOS buoys are not out of whack. The water temperature really is 57 F all the way around Cape Ann and into the Gulf of Maine.
Went for a swim today and it was like bathwater. Just two weeks ago the water was passing 50 F and the dip was, refreshing.
