Red-winged Blackbird Kim SmithLast eveningĀ I was making audio recordings of marsh soundsĀ for film projects and could not have picked a better night.Ā Not only were the spring peepers loudly calling, the blackbirds were singing well past sundown. TheĀ resulting combination of bird songs and peepers created a veritable symphony.
