Explorer II Rudder

Check out the bad ass rudder on The Explorer II.  She is going back in the water this morning so I was glad I got to the Railways early to get the shot before it was under water.

Who goes through the trouble to paint racing flames on a Runner that is going to spend 99.9 percent of it’s time under water?

AWESOME!

By Steven Rosenberg

Globe Staff / August 10, 2008

(Editor’s note: Globe reporter Steven Rosenberg recently joined Mark Carroll for a night of fishing off Gloucester.)

GLOUCESTER – Mark Carroll can’t explain why he’s still fishing. He can’t put into words how he fell in love with a profession that has put his life in danger too many times at sea, claimed a lot of his bank account, and his marriage.”
