Joey,
From time to time I like exploring Gloucester, and finding important things that I never noticed before. There are several important statues and plaques
around and about which memorialize the men and women of Gloucester in different battles and wars. I’ll send you my photographs of these, and you can put up the ones you think are interesting.
Here is a Civil War statue on Leonard Street that honors the men who fought and died in that war from Annisquam. It is in a quiet little grassy area this is across from the entrance to Rockwood Heights I think.
I am have been a residential real estate broker with Coldwell Banker for 26 years. Also I have started rowing down on Harbor Loop with the Gloucester Rowing Club at Maritime Gloucester. I have roots in Gloucester that go back to 1919 when my father was born here. Every year, as I do business in this city, and travel around Cape Ann, I find more and more interesting things. I like to share some of these finds with my camera.”
