Norm Graham of Gloucester, who designed this loon out of bass wood, is one of about 100 vendors taking part in the March 20 Spring Fling Fair at O’Maley Middle School to raise money for a wheelchair van for Cherylann Parker.

Gloucester —

Celebrate the arrival of spring on Saturday, March 20 by coming to the Spring Fling Fair, hosted by the O’Maley Middle School in Gloucester, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In part, the fair will raise money to equip and modify a wheelchair van for Cherylann Parker, a longtime Gloucester educator who was injured in a horseback riding incident last fall.
The fair is geared toward families, with fun for all ages.
The Easter Bunny will drop by for photos and kids can also participate in “hands-on” art tables including sand designing, making sea shell magnets, and planting seedlings. The interactive arts tables are sponsored by the Gloucester PTO’s. Face painting will be available from 1 to 4 p.m. and over 100 vendors from across Cape Ann and the North Shore will sell their arts and crafts.
