As someone who considers himself a travel information nut, I was surprised that I didn’t know anything about the new checked bag fee being charged by many airlines.
We flew American Airlines and it cost us $15 for each of us, each way for a total of $60 on top of the price of out airline tickets. To me that is completly ridiculous! There was no mention of it when I was booking my flights but people should be well aware that some airlines do not charge these fees and when comparing prices to decide which airline to fly take it into consideration.

Give em your business I say and remember when researching flights to add in the cost of those other airlines to get a true representation of the costs. Rat Bastards!
