Through the cutting-edge Academy program, GMGI prepares career-compromised young adults in the growing biomanufacturing, life sciences and biotechnology fields, filling a critical workforce gap in the Commonwealth.

The recent expansion enables GMGI to grow the annual cohort from 20 to 40 students per year, and required the addition of several new staff members.

Hale Street Tavern

Ten of us had an early dinner at Hale Street Tavern before heading over to PSP Imports in Beverly Farms for a wine tasting. I can’t wait to tell you all about the wine tasting in a post during the next couple of days. For now, I love Hale Street and we had some amazing sushi and salads.

Seawall Construction at Cape Ann Marina

There’s always something going on down at the Cape Ann Marina. These days that includes building/repairing the bulkhead. Take extra care driving around there.

Although the museum is closed for the winter, the grounds can be viewed during regular business hours and it’s worth a stop-by. I look forward to the spring re-opening for their 47th consecutive season! In the meantime…….
