This Week at The Cut!

Thursday it’s The Far Out and Residual Groove up on The Cut stage! We are VERY excited for this one. If you love to say, “I saw them when…” about bands after they blow up, we highly suggest coming to this show. Both of these bands are on an upwards trajectory at a breakneck pace. Our prediction is they won’t be playing intimate rooms like ours for much longer… There are still tickets available. Doors at 7pm. Show at 7:30pm.

Friday Fortune makes their debut on The Cut stage. We know this band has quite the following, and we’re very eager for all the Friends of Fortune to see what an incredible venue The Cut is. Seats are sold out for this show, but there are still some GA Standing tickets available. Doors at 7pm. Show at 8pm.
We will also have Keith Crocker live in the restaurant from 7pm to 10pm. Come hang a the bar with a beer and a burger and free live music!

Saturday we are thrilled to have Hey Nineteen – A tribute to Steely Dan – back up on The Cut stage. Tickets are going fast, but there are still some available! Doors at 7pm. Show at 8pm.
Then we’ll have a live DJ in the restaurant from 9pm-close. Follow us on social media for pop-up DJ updates!

Sunday it’s Troy Ramey in the venue. If you love Chris Stapleton or Zach Bryan, this show is for you. There are still some seats available for this show that blends soulful music with storytelling. Doors at 7pm. Show at 7:30pm.
We’ll also have ALL the football on our 9 TVs, so make sure you stop by to watch the games and enter to win a VIP Experience at our Super Bowl Party!

As always, Little Sister will be serving their Best of The North Shore award-winning burgers (and so much more) starting at 5pm each night and now starting at noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Come early and grab food before the show or stay late and refuel after dancing!

Progressing into autumn.

Perfect toadstool for the next passing toad.
Tar spot fungus on some of our maple trees is apparently not a health concern.
But invasive bittersweet may suffocate this covered spruce tree.
Late-born fawns are maturing before winter.
Eastern Garter Snake taking a defensive posture, crossing the road.
A Mourning Dove now understands why raptors like the view.
Time is getting short for the dahlias on Stacy Boulevard.
This dahlia is seemingly bearing fruit.
While two bees nearly shake feet, working on the same flower.
And Monarch Butterflies prepare for their amazing multi-generation migration to Mexico.

Students In Need of Cardboard for Design Project

I’m collecting cardboard for my students to build large cardboard boats. Are any local businesses willing to donate/set aside cardboard for us to use? The higher quality/thicker cardboard would be ideal. They will be building over the course of the next two weeks. Thank you in advance!
