Greenhead Season
The biggest greenhead I have ever seen! Looks like this fall may be a bad greenhead season. Kidding.

Pet of the Week- Lottie

Hi there, my name is Lottie! I am a sweet girl who is a little over two years old. I made my way to Cape Ann Animal Aid with several other lucky pups looking for a home of my own. My foster mom cared for me for several weeks; I stayed with her in the country and I really enjoyed going for walks with her. She said I especially liked milk bones and my monkey toy!

I am considered a special needs adoption because I recently finished up a course of treatment for heartworm. I will need to continue to be on an exercise restriction for a while and follow up with my new vet in the future.
To learn more about me or other animals waiting for homes, please come visit our shelter at 4 Paws Lane in Gloucester or check us out online at www.capeannanimalaid.org.

$200 Gift Certificate to Duckworth’s!
In September when we were organizing for the Sober October Challenge at Cape Ann Power Yoga, we decided that the prize should be something really special. For Sober October we asked people to abstain from alcohol and marijuana and to practice 15 yoga classes in the month of October. 43 people entered in to the challenge and 17 completed the yoga and sober month successfully. A handful more completed all the yoga classes but had some drinks, and mostly everyone else maintained their sobriety but didn’t make it to the minimum 15 classes. We’re very proud of all of the individuals who accepted the challenge and took it seriously – however many stickers they put on the chart or slip ups they had along the way.
Congratulations to:

Coyote above the boulevard- caption this Cape Ann wildlife!
I received these great shots of a healthy looking coyote in Gloucester, Ma. The photos were taken about 6pm on November 3, 2018 and lend themselves to clever captioning, especially photo 1! What do you think?
