Thank you Sista Felicia and Mumma Pat for another fun night kicking off the holidays with this beautiful tradition, lots of laughs and some amazing women!! From caroling, to a “human snowman” making contest and the best boxwood trees made with lots of gatzi!! (Not to mention plenty of yummy bites and drinks!!!)
It was too chilly to stay out very long, but I just had to stop on the way home and grab a couple night shots of Kent Circle all dolled up for Christmas! 
It was too cold for me to be out on the harbor last night!

I’m a sucker for clouds and reflections…and they are great today with the high tide! Wishing I could play hooky and just shoot clouds today!

Took advantage of having the morning off to head out for sunrise with my good friend Helen who’s visiting from Chicago. What started with light rain showers over the Essex Marsh, quickly turned into a moody fall glow with some awesome clouds!
You know the holidays are just around the corner when the Christmas Tree arrives on Kent Circle! Save the date: Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 3pm-5pm for the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting. 
No line no waiting in Lanesville this morning. It’s a beautiful day to get out and EXERCISE your right to VOTE!
I don’t know about you but I don’t feel like I gained an hour of sleep this weekend! The upside is that Friday is a holiday for me so I’ll be counting down the hours until then. Today I’m sharing a few shots from one of my jaunts around Annisquam Light taken the same night within an hour of each other. The light changing gives you such a different feel in each pic. As we all dodge all the orange cones of progress as we wind our way through the City streets to work today (which orange cones I have lovingly dubbed the “official city flower”) I share these orange shades of sunrise from last weekend! Have a great day!! 
While a lot of us wait patiently for the power to come back on, we can be grateful that the sun is out to warm us up a bit! Hoping everyone gets their power by the end of today!! Happy Halloween!
This place never gets old for me!
The best part of the fall is the late sunrises…even the laziest of us can catch one…at least for the next week or so before the time changes! This morning’s sunrise on Good Harbor I ran across these roses someone left behind.

Did everyone else spend their weekend prepping for the impending winter?? Well lucky for me I got to chose whether I wanted to stack wood or go grocery shopping…which, in my defense, are equally hideous tasks!! I, did however choose to throw myself into the Market Basket melee and was grateful to see that by the time I returned my OCD husband had all the wood neatly stacked and organized by seasoned, kiln dried and kindling. Bring on the cozy fire weather!
