Everyone was out enjoying a perfect sunset at Plum Cove Beach last night.

Rockport is looking ready for it’s bonfire on the 4th!

It’s going to be a glorious weekend and what more could we ask for!!  Looking forward to the beach, kayaking, maybe some biking!   Hope everyone gets out and enjoys every minute!  

It wouldn’t be summer in Gloucester without a ride on one of our beautiful schooners!  The Thomas E. Lannon (photos below), the Ardelle or the Adventure.   If you are local or visiting it’s a must do!

Every year Colby Farms, in Newbury, MA plants a field of Sunflowers and if you want to smile…you’ve got to go!   It’s a beautiful display and over the years I’ve seen many people there taking family photos or senior portraits.   They are usually in bloom the end of August so stay tuned and  I will let you know when they are ready!   In the meantime the Farmstand has great things to offer over the summer so if you are in the area and want some fresh produce stop on by!

Second Annual FEEL BEAUTIFUL event is looking for some Photographers, Make-up Artists and Hair stylists to volunteer a few short hours for their event this Sunday, June 26^th from 11-2pm.  This event is held for women of all shapes and sizes to have their hair, makeup and photos done professionally to celebrate beauty equality.   The event is free and open to anyone who identifies as female and is 12 years of age or older.   Emily MacDougall is 20 years old from Gloucester and the Director of the FEEL BEAUTIFUL event and founder of Project Positive Role Models which is an online support system of women encouraging beauty equality, and promotes female empowerment and self confidence.    The FEEL BEAUTIFUL event is free to participants so the event couldn’t happen without the many VOLUNTEERS.    Contact Emily at 978-810-8447.

To me, this night is the official kick-off to St. Peter’s Fiesta!  The Rosary, followed by Mass then the first procession of St. Peter down to Beach Court and then St. Peter rests in the club until he is brought to the Altar on Friday.  

St. Peter’s got some new landscape on Beach Court with The Beauport and it’s red and green glowing lights.
