Beau Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree. The holiday season at the Beauport is so magical. If you haven’t enjoyed a cocktail, a meal, or a cup of coffee there this holiday season, make a point to stop by soon.

Give the gift of live music and a fun night out! With a full menu and bar and live music 7 days a week a Rhumb Line gift certificate equals a fun night out!

Well, if this isn’t merry and bright, I don’t know what is. I snuck in a little time up at Lynnfield MarketStreet the other day and this made me smile.

This video makes me laugh every holiday season. “Holiday Bartender” with Matt Catanzano summarizes many a girls’ night out! Click here to see the video.
Looking for something to do with your empty wine bottles? Click on this link to see the full photo if you are viewing this post on Facebook! Wine bottles turned into really cool holiday cheer….at Loco near Fenway. We had an excellent meal before seeing Dylan Scott perform at the House of Blues. The whole restaurant was decorated like crazy for the holidays. https://www.locosouthboston.com/

Each December, for many years now, teams comprised of some dedicated mens league hockey players look forward to the Ancient Mariner Tournament in Gloucester. I know I speak for everyone when I applaud Rusty Harnish for all of the work and dedication he has given to keeping this tournament alive. This year, the Hockey Dawgz, led by Tony Frontiero, won the Ancient Mariner B Championship over the West Pond Hockey Club. The Dawgz overcame a slow start and a 3-0 deficit to win the title 4-3. Congratulations, Dawgz! Happy to feature other champions as well….just submit any photos.

I love this truck…a different spin on Santa’s sleigh. I see it each season while trekking to Marlboro for hockey games with Finn and I’ve come to look forward to it each December.

Here is the Church, here is it’s steeple……..

Treetop Yoga. We are lucky to have a McKay on my Finn’s hockey team. That means that sometimes, during downtime between games, you can find Treetop’s owner, Erin, guiding the players through different exercises and poses. We have also brought teams in to work with Erin in the studio during past seasons. A beneficial and important exercise for the total athlete. If you haven’t checked out Treetop Yoga yet, be sure to! Located right off of Pond Road in Gloucester, you’ll find their robust in studio and online schedule perfect…especially this time of year! They’re also offering a special now for new members. Be sure to head to their website to learn more. https://treetopyoga.com/

Top Golf, Canton. Finn and his hockey team played at 9:00 on both Saturday and Sunday at the Rodman Arena next to Gillette Stadium. After winning a huge championship game (against an undefeated team) they wanted to celebrate at Top Golf right down the road in Canton. Such a fun spot….click on the whole post to see the desserts that they were maybe the most excited for…and use this link to learn more about Top Golf itself. https://topgolf.com/us/canton/

Tonno’s Blackburn Barrel-Aged Manhattan was totally what I needed the other day….as well as the company of a good friend. And, for the record Joey, in case you’re reading… the ‘s in Tonno is because it is possessive….not because I think that is its name!

The view from on top of the Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jump. Click the post for views from the bottom. It’s pretty impressive. I learned, evidently, that I’m not a huge fan of standing on wooden platforms that high up. Who would have thought?

November.

I’m kind of excited about Snowport returning to Boston’s Seaport. 140 vendors, beverages, activities, and the city’s tallest tree (that’s a big promise). It’s such a fun way to spend a winter evening. “Hold on to your handwarmers — we shook Seaport up in a giant snow globe and transformed the neighborhood into a magical winter getaway. Find gifts, treats, and plenty of surprises in this one-stop wonderland you can enjoy all season”

Good night, Main Street.
